Nice shot indeed… but with so much trickery out there, I would love it if photographs presented a little caption/insert with “see original photo”… Retouching is an art by itself, just that sometimes, one can feel being taken for a ride, no?

Actually, this is pretty much what the camera saw. It is an HDR and combines three separate shots - one overexposed, one at normal exposure, and one under exposed - so it may more closely be what your eyes - constantly adjusting to available light - see than most photos.
